Something to please everyone, the Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society Fall Fair is one of the biggest events celebrated in the area.

Spring Fever Days, held each year in April, is an opportunity for area residents and visitors to see what many of the community businesses and organizations have to offer.

Emo Walleye Classic is a catch-and-release tournament on the picturesque Rainy River, in Emo, Ontario. Sixty-five teams from Canada and the U.S. chased the top spot – and over $40,000 in prizes!

When St. Patrick's Catholic Church burned down in 1971, Elmer Norlund and Ed Sletmoen salvaged the steeple and built the Norlund Chapel on Highway 11/17 in Emo.

The Emo Speedway, a quarter-mile high bank clay track, hosts the Borderland Racing Association's Street Stock, Wissota Modifieds and Mini Sprints Saturday nights through the spring and summer.
